I had the idea about this work from a Bulgarian song about the Serpent`s love for a beautiful girl, which has a lot of mythological connotations. Â
Instead of the serpent I have painted a Kuker which is predominantly the mask, emphasizing the face and leaving the body transparent, disappearing, out-of-this-worldly.Â
